Uzair Hammad Receives APTA Outstanding Resident Award

Previous UCF and Orlando Health neurologic residency graduate DPT Uzair Hammad, was recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) with the APTA Outstanding Resident Award on July 21, at the APTA Leadership Congress in Kansas City, MO.

Hammad, who currently works as a spinal cord injury specialist and residency mentor at the Orlando Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, was previously recognized by the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANTP) with the Early Career Professional Award as well as the Rizing Tide Foundation’s Surge Scholarship Award and UCF’s 30 Under 30 Award.
