Emma Scammon, the ninth resident of the UCF and Orlando Health Neurologic Residency Program, earned the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Neurologic Clinical Specialist designation on June 22.
The certification makes Scammon a board-certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy and an ABPTS diplomate, recognizing advanced clinical knowledge and skill in treating patients with neurologic conditions.
Scammon currently works at the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute, where she serves as a lead clinician for the Disorders of Consciousness Program and a mentor for the residency program.
