College of Health Professions and Sciences
Welcome to the College of Health Professions and Sciences
I have the honor and privilege of leading the College of Health Professions and Sciences, one of the newest and most dynamic colleges at UCF. Our faculty and staff are focused on preparing students for careers in various health professions, whether they are seeking their terminal degree, or establishing their educational foundation for future academic programs.
The College of Health Professions and Sciences is home to 6,194 undergraduate students and 885 graduate students. Health Sciences is the second-most popular undergraduate major at UCF and provides students with a strong foundation to pursue higher degrees in health-related careers. Our 107 esteemed faculty members in athletic training, communication sciences and disorders, health sciences, kinesiology, physical therapy and social work prepare students to be innovative thinkers, researchers and compassionate care providers.
We are committed to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities through our five bachelor’s programs, four master’s programs, and two doctoral programs in physical therapy and kinesiology by offering integrative and inclusive education, research, clinical practice and service.
Through our partnership in the UCF Academic Health Sciences Center, our students and faculty collaborate on interprofessional training and research that strengthen student’s knowledge, and advances healthcare delivery in our community, the nation and the world. Our clinical sites offer the most scientifically advanced services that combine care, research and education.
We aspire to be a leader in innovative health education, research, clinical practice and service by preparing the best health professionals and scientists and advancing the science of health and wellness. We see our success in the achievements of our graduates and the impact they have on individuals and communities.
