The Spinal Cord Injury Special Interest Group (SCI SIG) of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANPT) recognized former neurologic resident and current residency faculty member Uzair “Z” Hammad with the SCI SIG Outstanding Service Award on Feb. 14, at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in Houston, TX.
Hammad, who is the current host of the ANPT spinal cord injury podcast and currently works as a spinal cord injury specialist at the Orlando Health Advance Rehabilitation Institute, was previously recognized with the American Physical Therapy Association’s Outstanding Resident Award, by the ANPT with the Early Career Professional Award, by the Rizing Tide Foundation with the Surge Scholarship Award, and by UCF with the 30 Under 30 Award.
