Communication sciences and disorders alumna Shelby Campbell, Au.D., (B.S., ’09) (right) is one of 30 UCF alumni under age 30 honored recently for outstanding professional accomplishments.

In a Florida Today article about her receipt of the award, Campbell recounted how one faculty member in particular had a real impact on her career choice. Assistant Professor Harold Utt “turned her on to audiology specifically.”
After graduating from UCF, Campbell earned a doctorate in audiology at Nova Southeastern University. Today she is a practicing audiologist
with My Family ENT in Melbourne, Fla.
