UCF and Orlando Health Neurologic Residency Research Coordinator Nicole Dawson PT, PhD, GCS, and Residency Director Morris “Rick” Beato, PT, DPT, GCS, NCS, presented with members of the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy’s Dementia Evidence Database Guide to Effective (Dementia EDGE) task force members on the topic of “ABC’s of Dementia: ADRD, LBD, FTD, NPH: Which Therapy Approach is Effective?” at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting on Feb. 23 in San Diego, CA.
Other members of the team included: Christine Ross, PT, DPT, GCS, of Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health of the Cleveland Clinic in Las Vegas, NV and Laura White, PT, DScPT, of the University of South Alabama Department of Physical Therapy in Mobile, AL.
