Residency Faculty Conrad, Beato, Neely Receive National and State Awards

Multiple faculty members of the UCF & Orlando Health Neurologic Residency Program were recognized by their respective academies at this year’s American Physical Therapy Association Combined Section’s Meeting held in February.

Marissa Conrad, PT, MS, NCS was recognized with the Outstanding Clinical Innovator Award by the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy.

Laurie Neely, PT, DPT, NCS was recognized with the Katherine Harris Outstanding Educator Award by the Academy of Acute Care Physical Therapy.

Morris “Rick” Beato, PT, DPT, GCS, NCS was recognized with the Excellence in Neurologic Education Award by the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. He also received recognition from the Florida Physical Therapy Association’s Neurology Special Interest Group with the 2021 Outstanding Neurologic Physical Therapist in Education Award.
