Faculty and Staff

Kelly David is an instructor at the UCF Health Communication Disorders Clinic, where she applies her expertise to support individuals in improving their quality of life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida.

With extensive clinical experience across various settings—including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, transitional living, and outpatient services—Kelly specializes in working with adults with acquired disorders of language, cognition, voice, dysphagia, and pragmatics. She is also passionate about empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through her initiatives, Speak Up and Language for Life Skills, which are therapy groups with a focus on enhancing self-advocacy and executive function skills.

Kelly is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
