Experience Rome while Earning Credits towards Your Degree
As part of the UCF Rome Center, students have the extraordinary opportunity to spend their summer or semester earning UCF credits in the historic and inspirational heart of Rome, Italy.
Living in Rome also provides opportunities for language learning and intercultural exchange. While no Italian language background is required, daily immersion helps students strengthen communication skills and gain confidence in a global setting. Students enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, a welcoming community-oriented lifestyle, and the chance to connect with both locals and peers from around the world.
Program Information
The following courses are offered abroad through this program:
Summer A (May 17, 2027 - June 25, 2027)
- PEM2103: Personal Fitness and Wellness
PEM2103 Personal Fitness and Wellness
This 3-credit course encompasses basic human physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, health science, and behavior change concepts derived from various academic disciplines, as well as examines health and wellness in the US as compared with that in Rome. It allows students to develop life habits for a successful happy and healthy life.
