Nutritional Recovery Between Bouts of Exhaustive Intermittent Exercise

The purpose of this study is to determine whether just carbohydrate or carbohydrate plus protein is more effective at preventing decreases in exercise performance during multiple exercise bouts. This information will be beneficial to any athlete that may need to compete or train multiple times a day.

Inclusion Qualifications:

  • Male or female between the ages of 18-35
  • Currently a strength and power athlete (e.g., rugby, soccer, basketball, CrossFit, Lacrosse)
  • Currently an endurance athlete (e.g., cyclist, runner, triathlete)
