Faculty and Staff

Shari Norte is an Associate Instructor in the School of Kinesiology and Rehabilitative Sciences in the Division of Kinesiology at the University of Central Florida. Prior to UCF, she served in various roles in the College of Health and Human Services at the University of Toledo, including Director of Health Sciences and Director of Clinical Education for the Masters of Athletic Training Program.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Gardner-Webb University and a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Pedagogy from Louisiana State University. Additionally, she completed the Athletic Training Fellowship at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO.

Clinically, she served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Louisiana State University, Athletic Trainer at Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in Poughkeepsie, NY and Head Athletic Trainer at St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville, VA. She has completed a volunteer rotation at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and currently serves as a peer reviewer for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Shari is certified by the BOC and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
