Qianxia Jiang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences. She holds a PhD in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Connecticut, with a concentration in health, wellbeing, and prevention. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Children’s Healthy Lifestyles and Nutrition at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City. Her research examines the impact of neighborhood environment on obesity-related health outcomes. Jiang is also interested in physical activity measurement and behavioral intervention to promote healthy living.
