Faculty and Staff

Kristine Perez is an instructor at the UCF Communication Disorders Clinic where she applies her background to support graduate students hone their own clinical skills. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and her Master of Science from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Kristine’s clinical expertise centers on the pediatric population, particularly children with Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD). Her training as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) complements her feeding specialization by providing additional expertise in infant feeding, early oral development, and caregiver coaching to support breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and positive feeding experiences from birth. In addition to her specialization, Kristine brings extensive experience in speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has practiced across a variety of settings, including home health and pediatric acute care, contributing to her well-rounded understanding of the field.

Kristine is an active member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
