UCF and Orlando Health neurologic residency graduates Logan Brown and Chloe Artrip earned the designation of Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Brown and Artrip, who are both from the program’s sixth cohort, received their results on June 30, after taking the board examination in March. Both former residents are now board-certified specialists in neurological physical therapy and diplomates of the ABPTS.
Brown currently works at Orlando Regional Medical Center, a level one trauma center and primary stroke center, and is the social media coordinator for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy’s Degenerative Disease Special Interest Group. Artrip works in Orlando Health’s Advanced Rehabilitation Institute Outpatient Division and was recently awarded a scholarship by the Florida Physical Therapy Association to attend the American Physical Therapy Association Academy of Leadership and Innovation’s (APTAALI) LAMP Leadership training.
