Serving as an Orientation Leader for First Time in College orientation sessions; co-founding and serving as a former Vice President of First Generation Medicine – a UCF registered student organization that provides first-generation students with the tools needed to become impactful leaders in medicine; devoting time to meeting community needs through the Mu Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; and completing the LEAD Scholar academic leadership development program, Angel Bradley (Health Sciences Pre-Clinical), has proven her commitment to leadership and service. Her passion for service is driven by her philosophy of putting her best foot forward in any circumstance and making a difference. Angel says, “That’s the core of who I am, someone whose guiding principle is to focus on the impact I am leaving.”
Angel didn’t start in Health Sciences, but she is very glad she discovered the major. “Health Sciences is the perfect balance between the core science courses needed for medical school and the human and practical side of becoming a healthcare professional.” An aspiring pediatrician, Angel plans to use her leadership skills and the knowledge and skills she will acquire during medical school to provide the best care possible to her patients and community.
