Gabriela Rodriguez is part of the fifth cohort of scholars to receive the Rizing Tide Foundation’s 2025 Surge Scholarship!
Selected from a national pool of residency program applicants, Rodriguez is now the second UCF Orlando Health neurologic resident to earn this prestigious honor, following previous recipient, Uzair “Z” Hammad.
Rodriguez earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UCF and is currently enrolled in the UCF and Orlando Health Neurologic Residency Program.
The Surge Scholarship provides targeted financial support to help early-career therapists pursue residency training, including assistance for tuition, professional development, travel and continuing education.
