Residency Faculty Presents with National Parkinson Task Force Members

UCF & Orlando Health Neurologic Residency Coordinator Nicole Dawson PT, PhD, GCS, and Residency Director Morris “Rick” Beato, PT, DPT, GCS, NCS, presented with members of the national Parkinson task force members on the topic of “ABC’s of Parkinsonism Plus Syndromes: LBD, MSA, PSP, NPH, Which Therapy Approach is Effective?” at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting on February 5, 2022, in San Antonio, TX.

Other members of the team included, Jacqueline Osbourne, PT, DPT, GCS, who is the chair of the Clinical Practice Guideline for the Physical Therapy Management of Parkinson Disease, and Rose Babcock, PT, DPT, OCS, who is a member of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy’s Knowledge Translation Task Force for Parkinson disease clinical practice guidelines.
