DPT Laurie Neely receives FPTA Outstanding Educator Award on Sept. 21.

Residency faculty DPT Laurie Neely was recognized by the Florida Physical Therapy Association with the Award for Excellence in Academic Teaching. The award was presented during the Awards Luncheon on Sept. 21, at the Florida Physical Therapy Association Annual Conference and Assembly of Representatives in Orlando, Fla.

Neely was previously recognized with the Outstanding Educator Award by the Academy of Acute Care Physical Therapy. She is the current Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Director of the UCF Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. She is a Fellow of the National Academies of Practice and was previously inducted to the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy’s Academy of Advanced Item Writers.
