Congratulations to Division of Physical Therapy assistant professor Carey Rothschild, who was recently elected to serve as the Nominating Committee member of the Pain Special Interest Group in the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. In addition to this leadership role, Rothschild currently serves as the Sports Board member of the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is the Membership Lead for the Academy of Sports Physical Therapy’s Running Special Interest Group.

“As one of the nine board-certified physical therapist specialists on the ABPTS Board of Directors, I seek to promote, enhance, and maximize the opportunity for physical therapist specialty certification,” says Rothschild. “During my four-year term, I hope to make the process smooth and the requirements clear for specialty certification and recertification while ensuring clinical expertise in the specialty areas.”
