Congratulations to the 2015 Department of Health Professions Outstanding Alumni Award recipient, Mr. Jud Fann!

A graduate of the Athletic Training Program, Jud Fann was an excellent student and has turned out to be an exceptional alumnus as well. He is employed with UCF as an assistant athletic trainer for football with the UCF Sports Medicine Department. When not working his full-time job, Fann volunteers as a guest lecturer for the program and works as an Athletic Training Program adjunct. He is also an outstanding preceptor. Each semester Fann is assigned current program students and teaches them the clinical skills required to be successful athletic trainers while sharing his passion for the profession. Year after year students praise him for being a great teacher and a great role model. In addition to his volunteer lectures, adjunct position, and preceptor responsibilities, Fann serves on the Athletic Training Program Advisory Board.

We are very grateful that Jud takes it upon himself to be involved in the curriculum and professional development aspects of the Athletic Training Program.  He is a shining example of alumni involvement for both the program and the university.
