Sarai Sunsin is a master’s student in kinesiology on the clinical exercise physiology track at UCF under the mentorship of Clinical Associate Professor Caitlin Cheruka and Clinical Associate Professor Sarah Fretti. She earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology with a focus in exercise physiology from UCF. During her undergraduate years, Sunsin gained thousands of hours of direct patient care experience working as a certified nursing assistant in a hospital setting. After graduating, she joined the CARE Lab as a research assistant, where she gained hands-on experience assisting with research and data collection. Her interests include clinical exercise physiology, exercise testing, and the role of exercise in improving health and preventing chronic disease. In her free time, Sunsin enjoys reading and traveling.
