What is This Study About?
We are investigating how blood flow restriction (BFR) walk training impacts muscle function in people with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Inclusion Qualifications:
- 18-65 years old
 - Diagnosed with MS
 - Can walk at least 10 meters (with or without assistive devices)
 - No recent MS relapse (past month)
 - No recent medication changes (past two months)
 - No cardiac, vascular, pulmonary, or additional neurological conditions
 - Not currently pregnant
 
Exclusion Qualifications:
You may not participate in this research opportunity if any of the following applies to you:- 
Multiple Sclerosis-Related Factors:
- MS-related exacerbation within one month prior to enrollment.
 - Change in disease-modifying therapy within two months prior to enrollment.
 
 - 
Exercise and Activity-Related Factors:
- Current participation in a structured walking program.
 - Participation in a structured walking program within two months prior to enrollment.
 
 - 
Medical Conditions:
- History of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE).
 - Peripheral vascular disease.
 - Clotting disorders.
 - Severe or uncontrolled hypertension.
 - Additional neurologic, cardiac, or pulmonary comorbidities.
 
 - 
Other Factors:
- Pregnancy.
