The Effects of 24-Hour Activity on Cardiometabolic Health in Females

The Effects of 24-Hour Activity on Cardiometabolic Health in Females

The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between biobehavioral markers, psychological stress, and cardiometabolic disease. You will be asked to attend a study visit at UCF to complete health related measurements and a short survey. We will provide you a Garmin activity tracker to wear for 10 days. During this time, you will receive brief 2-5 question surveys twice per day via a mobile phone app. You’ll also complete online surveys about the specific daily activities that you do in a 24 hour period and your ability to regulate your emotions. You’ll return for a short second visit to return the device at the end of the monitoring period.
