CHPS RESEARCH STUDIES

Perimenopause and Pain

This research is being conducted in order to examine the pain experience of women in perimenopause. By expanding the knowledge of how menopause status affects an individual’s sensitivity to pain, the presence of psychological factors, and quality of sleep, we aim to better inform healthcare providers. In doing so, improve overall treatment and care that recognizes the whole individual.
