Improving Mental Health in Young Adults
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of health interventions on depression symptoms in college students between the age of 18-25. We would like to examine if depressive symptoms and a specific protein marker measured in the blood are related and change over time. Further, we would like to understand if changes in depressive symptoms would impact your quality of life. If you meet eligibility criteria, you will be asked to complete two study visits about 10 weeks apart. You will be asked to wear an activity tracker, donate two tubes of blood samples, and complete online surveys on 3 occasions. The research team will be monitoring your sleep patterns and other Fitbit metrics to understand if these variables impact your depression symptoms and quality of life.
