Jalonta Jackson-Glasco is a Lecturer in the School of Social Work at the University of Central Florida. She holds a PhD in Public Administration and Public Policy from Auburn University, with her dissertation focusing on the mixed-methods analysis of factors influencing the spread of prison menstrual laws. She also holds a Master of Social Work from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and has over nine years of teaching experience in higher education, specializing in social work, public policy, and advocacy. Jackson-Glasco has served as a program director for social work programs and has a diverse professional background as an adult probation officer and substance abuse counselor. Her areas of expertise include mixed methods research, social justice advocacy, diversity and inclusion, and criminal justice reform, particularly within prison systems. She is also an experienced mentor, guiding doctoral students through the dissertation process.
