Uzair “Z” Hammad, PT, DPT, NCS, the University of Central Florida – Orlando Health Neurologic Residency Program’s fifth resident, recently earned the designation of American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Dr. Hammad is now a board-certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy and a diplomate of ABPTS.
Hammad also was appointed to the national residency task force on the residency financial fact sheet mandated by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE). The task force made recommendations to ABPTRFE guidelines about residency programs’ current, accurate and reliable information on the cost of attendance to each residency program.
Hammad currently works at Orlando Health’s Institute for Advanced Rehabilitation Inpatient Rehabilitation’s Spinal Cord Injury Program.
