Fukuda Wins Educator of the Year

David Fukuda, an associate professor and Division of Kinesiology chair, is the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Educator of the Year for 2022.

Fukuda was selected by the NSCA’s Education Committee and past award recipients based on his contributions to the education and clinical application of strength training and conditioning.

Fukuda was recognized at the NSCA National Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. The NSCA is a nonprofit association founded in 1978 that is dedicated to advancing professions in strength and conditioning, and related sport science worldwide.

To date, this award has been given to 19 individuals. Fukuda is the third scholar affiliated with the UCF kinesiology program to win this award.
