Ashley Gadelha, the current resident of the UCF and Orlando Health neurologic residency program, along with residency director Morris “Rick” Beato, presented at the inaugural Florida Physical Therapy Association Neurology Special Interest Group’s Continuing Education Course Series.

The presentation entitled, “Big Movements and Big Intensities in Parkinson’s: Boom or Bust? An Evidence-Based Review of Interventions for Clinicians” was presented virtually on March 18, 2021. This is the first of scheduled quarterly presentations by experts in neurologic physical therapy from around the state on different topics in neurologic rehabilitation. The presentation included discussions with the neurologic clinicians from across Florida on the current state of Parkinson rehabilitation in the United States.
