Physical therapy students met with an array of potential employers during the annual UCF DPT Career Fair on April 1.

Clinics, hospitals systems, and top companies in rehabilitation services from Central Florida and across the nation participated in the event to recruit and share career information with current physical therapy students.

The event is open to all physical therapy students to provide them with knowledge about employment opportunities and to help them sharpen their interviewing skills.

Thanks to this event, students learned of multiple job openings and gained insight from the hiring teams on navigating the application process.

“Students have found that attending the event allowed them to become more comfortable with the networking and job search process,” says Samantha Mundell, manager of academic support services for the Division of Physical Therapy.  “By the time they are actively looking for a position, they feel as if they have a head start.”
