The mob invasion of the Capitol building was not a protest, it was an attack by our own people on our democracy. As social workers, we denounce the demagoguery practices and rampant lies that led to this deplorable event in our history. As a school, we will continue to educate and empower future social justice leaders to be critical thinkers and proactive in protecting democracy in all its forms.
