Logan Brown, a previous resident of the UCF and Orlando Health Neurologic Residency program, received third place in the best poster presentation from the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANPT) Balance and Falls Special Interest Group. His neurologic residency case study was presented as a poster titled “Capturing Change: Administration of the Berg Balance Scale and ABC Scale with Guillain Barre Syndrome” was presented at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting (APTA CSM) in Houston, TX, on Feb. 15.
Brown currently works as a neurologic acute care physical therapist at the Orlando Regional Medical Center, a primary stroke center and level 1 trauma center, where he spent his acute care rotation during the residency program. He is a communications officer for the ANPT’s Degenerative Disease Special Interest Group.
