Beato Receives Neuro Academy’s Outstanding Service Award

Residency Director and Clinical Associate Professor Morris “Rick” Beato smiles with the ANPT Outstanding Service Award.

The Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANPT) recognized Residency Director and Clinical Associate Professor Morris “Rick” Beato, with the ANPT Outstanding Service Award on Feb. 14, at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in Houston, TX. The ANPT Outstanding Service Award recognizes neurologic physical therapists with an established record of valuable service through leadership, personal influence, achievement or frequent and sustained work advancing the development of the academy.

Beato was previously recognized by the ANPT with the Excellence in Neurologic Education Award. This is Beato’s third National Professional Service Award after previously receiving the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy Outstanding Service Award and the APTA’s Lucy Blair Service Award.
