Aleksandra Krawczyk ’15, ‘18MA is a UCF alumna with degrees in communication sciences and disorders and creative writing. During her time as a student, Aleksandra was highly engaged in campus life, serving as president of the Cypress Dome Society and a member of the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA). Her academic achievements were complemented by a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Poland, where she taught English and connected with experts in the field of stuttering. This experience fueled her passion for stuttering research, which she further explored through her master’s thesis on bilingual adults who stutter. Krawczyk’s research earned her first place at UCF’s Graduate Research Forum and a prestigious NIH scholarship to present at the 2018 Joint World Congress in Hiroshima.
Since graduating, Aleksandra has expanded her expertise with a European Stuttering Specialization and a graduate certificate in professional writing. She currently serves as the CEO and chief executive editor of Learnigo, an educational publication company focused on creating resources for speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and special educators. Now based in Fort Lauderdale, she remains active in the community, volunteering with the Miami Poetry Club, supporting the Eagle-Orzel Educational and Cultural Exchange, and fostering animals through NAIA’s Pet Rescue. Additionally, Aleksandra continues to give back to UCF, serving as a clinical adjunct educator and attending alumni events.
