Have you applied and been accepted to UCF? If NO, apply through Undergraduate Admissions.

If you have been admitted to UCF, but have not yet registered for orientation, please visit First Year Experience (FYE) to schedule your orientation session as soon as possible.

If you have already registered for a new student FTIC or Transfer orientation event, please review the additional information provided below.

Students can expect to receive information from CHPS leading up to their orientation date via their Knights email. FTIC students will be enrolled in the UCF FTIC Virtual Orientation-CHPS webcourse and be required to complete modules regarding their desired major before attending orientation. At the end of reviewing the major module content, Part 2: Academic College Web Content Completion Form is to be completed and submitted. Failure to complete this before your day of event will delay the process of meeting with an advisor. On your orientation event day, students will attend a two-part session beginning in the morning with a college presentation hosted by Student Academic Services, followed by meeting one on one with an academic advisor to prepare for course registration. Your orientation day will conclude after registering that afternoon for courses in the upcoming semester(s).

*Students attending a new student orientation event should plan to have their unofficial transcripts and/or score reports of all incoming credit to UCF accessible (even if official score reports and transcripts have already been sent to the University). These documents may be used to assist advisors with schedule planning and selection of courses for future semesters.
