PCOS and Cognitive Function Among Female College Students
Researchers want to understand the relationship between PCOS symptoms and cognitive and psychological functioning in college-aged women. We plan to compare executive functioning, cognitive test anxiety, and perceived stress between women with and without PCOS. We also will assess whether certain lifestyle factors like physical activity, diet, and sleep impact these relationships.
You will be asked to attend one study visit where we will measure your height, weight, and body composition, and have you complete a set of online questionnaires about your stress levels, cognitive test anxiety, executive functioning skills, academic performance, diet and sleep. Afterward, you will be given a wrist-worn activity monitor to wear for seven days, which will track your physical activity. At the end of the week, you will return the device to complete your participation.
