Yen-Han Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida. Lee’s early research interests are related to health policy evaluation and access to healthcare services. Lee’s current research interests center on the social behavioral aspect of public health with the use of large secondary datasets, specifically focusing on substance use behaviors (i.e., traditional/electronic cigarette use, marijuana, alcohol, hallucinogens, and opioids) and lifestyle factors associated with older adults’ chronic conditions (i.e., cognitive impairment, obesity, and sleep-related issues). Yen-Han Lee currently serves as an Editorial Member for two SSCI-indexed journals: the Journal of Ethnicity in Substance Abuse (Editorial Board Member) and the Journal of Substance Use (Associate Editor). Yen-Han’s research work can be found in several leading journals of the field such as the Journal of Applied Gerontology, the Journal of Aging and Health, Ageing & Society, the Journal of Health Communication, Drugs: Education, Prevention and Policy, the International Journal of Mental Health and Addiction, and others.
