Melissa Gilliland is currently the Northeast Regional Facilitator with TATS (Technical Assistance and Training System), a discretionary project through the department of education. She provides technical assistance, training, and support to School district Pre-K coordinators for programs serving prekindergarten children with disabilities, and other early childhood partners (Early steps, Head Start, Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) programs, Early Learning Coalitions) on specific grant outcomes as defined by FL DOE. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and became a passionate advocate for inclusive programs for young children. Melissa’s dedication and focus is on improving outcomes for young children and their families.
