Faculty and Staff

Liza Smith is currently the Northwest Regional Facilitator with the TATS (Technical Assistance and Training System), a discretionary project through the department of education, she supports programs that serve children with disabilities and their early childhood partners.  She earned her Master of Science degree in Child Development at Florida State University and found her passion for working with young children during her Child Life Internship Program at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her background includes 30+ years supporting young children and families in a variety of capacities including early childhood education and early intervention at both state and local levels. Liza’s dedication and focus is on improving outcomes for young children and their families.
