Graduate Assistant

Moein Koohestanijavan is a doctoral student in the School of Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Central Florida. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and master’s degree in Sports Biomechanics. Moein used to be a professional badminton player, which pushed him to switch his major. His research interests include the investigation of neurophysiologic and neuroplastic consequences of lower extremity joint injuries, specifically ACL injury, which he studies in the CNS Lab. He has previous experience teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Toledo and Biomechanics in Iran.
