Graduate Assistant

Chris Proppe is currently a Graduate Teaching Associate in the Division of Kinesiology at the University of Central Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Texas Christian University and his master’s degree in exercise science from Middle Tennessee State University. Previously he worked as an athletic trainer in the collegiate setting. His research interests include resistance training interventions, such as blood flow restriction and eccentric resistance training, and applying these interventions to maintain and stimulate muscle growth in different settings including injury rehabilitation and microgravity.
