Student Interns

Field Education

Process for Placing Students

Qualifying students will be placed with community partners that are approved and coordinated by the Field Education office and faculty. During the placement process, field instructors are contacted by our faculty to determine the potential for student placement and to review specific learning opportunities required to meet program objectives.

Students may not contact agencies on their own and should work with the faculty of the Field Education Office to obtain a field placement.

Important forms regarding field placements are below.

Verification for Licensure

A UCF MSW graduate can receive a verification letter from the UCF School of Social Work that will assist them towards obtaining a registered clinical social work intern credential. This credential will allow them to further their post-master practice requirements for clinical licensure.
