Dancers’ Perceptions, Knowledge, and Barriers of Receiving Quality Healthcare
We are inviting members of the dance community to participate in a research study on dance-specific care, exploring your perceptions, knowledge, and barriers of accessing quality healthcare. Participation involves completing a short online survey (about 15 minutes) about your demographic information, dance involvement, experiences dealing with injuries and healthcare professionals, and barriers to and knowledge of injury management. Individuals who are considered dance teachers, dance program directors, or equivalent will also be asked to respond to questions regarding experience with, barriers to and knowledge of emergency management. You may also voluntarily opt to receive free educational resources, including access to a virtual workshop, on dance injury prevention and management, and optionally complete a brief follow-up survey. Your input will contribute to research focused on understanding and addressing access and quality of healthcare for dancers.
Inclusion Qualifications:

- a dance teach/choreographer/coach
