Born and raised in Orlando, Marie is an Administrative Assistant I at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She started her professional career at the University of Central Florida in 2017. Working at the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning as a Graphic Design Assistant and later joining Webcourses@UCF Support in 2021 as an IT Client Support Specialist I. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media: Game Design in 2020 and is currently working on her Master of Arts in Digital Media. Marie is a jack of all trades and has spent her professional career at UCF in a variety of roles. Such as providing students, staff and faculty with technical support for everything from UCF’s custom version of the Canvas learning management system to software in the Microsoft Office suite, PeopleSoft, operating systems such as Windows, MacOS and ChromeOS to hardware related issues on PCs, Mac, Chromebook, tablets, printers, cameras and microphones just to name a few. She has also assisted in web development, video recording/editing, photography, digital art as well as working as a teaching assistant for UCF’s Adobe Initiative. She began her work at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2025.
