Faculty and Staff

Julia Bitar is a Research Audiologist and Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Communication Technologies Research Center within UCF’s College of Health Professions and Sciences. She obtained her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2024. Her clinical experience includes comprehensive audiologic evaluations, diagnostic vestibular testing, electrophysiology, and device management for hearing loss and tinnitus. Her graduate research focused on the functional effects of inner hair cell loss in the chinchilla animal model as part of the Translational Auditory Perception (TAP) Lab at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is passionate about bridging the gap between research and clinical application to optimize auditory experiences for all ages.
