Brianna Coltellino is a postdoctoral scholar working with Jennifer Kent-Walsh in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida. She received her Ph.D. from Florida State University, with specific training as a fellow on the Leadership in Language and Literacy doctoral training grant (PI: Dr. Carla Wood). Her research focuses on (1) identifying barriers to accessing and utilizing augmentative and alternative communication systems and services, and (2) developing, implementing, and evaluating measurement tools and interventions that target the language and literacy abilities of children with developmental disabilities, inclusive of those who use augmentative and alternative communication modalities.
