Faculty and Staff

Annette Garced-Santiago, Au.D., is an American Board of Audiology Certified Doctor of Audiology and Adjunct Faculty at Albizu University. With a strong foundation in psychology and audiology from the University of Puerto Rico, she has built a career dedicated to advancing hearing health and communication. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she brings cultural competence and a passion for teaching to her work in both clinical and academic settings.

Annette provides comprehensive hearing care, including diagnostics, rehabilitation, and patient-centered treatment, while contributing to innovation and the growth of the profession. Her previous tenure as a Clinical Audiologist in different clinical settings strengthened her expertise in pediatrics, hearing aids, and auditory processing. She is licensed in Florida, California, Texas, Mississippi, Iowa, and Louisiana, where she also holds Telehealth Registration, expanding access to care across state lines.

In addition to her clinical practice, Annette has been an educator for nearly four years at Albizu University, where she teaches courses in acoustics and psychoacoustics and mentors future audiologists and speech-language pathologists. She remains an active advocate for the profession through her involvement with organizations such as The American Academy of Audiology (AAA), championing issues like Medicare telehealth access. Her commitment to excellence, innovation, and effective communication continues to shape her role as a clinician, educator, and leader in the field of audiology.
