Human Performance Track
UCF Master of Science in Kinesiology
The Human Performance track of the Master of Kinesiology degree prepares students for careers in sport performance, applied exercise physiology, research, and related fields. Students receive close instruction from faculty, engage in hands-on learning, and have opportunities to apply classroom concepts through research, clinical assessment, and other applied learning.

Requirements for Degree Completion
30 credits
The Human Performance track offers both thesis and non-thesis options, allowing students to tailor the program to their professional and academic goals.
- Thesis Option: Students complete advanced coursework and supervised thesis research culminating in an original master’s thesis. This option is well suited for students interested in research careers or pursuing doctoral education.
- Non-Thesis Option: Students complete core and elective coursework and choose a either a graduate internship or an independent literature review .
