Graduate Assistant

Sofea Smith is a graduate student pursuing her masters in Kinesiology on the Human Performance Track. She obtained her BS from the University Of South Carolina in Exercise Science, where she completed an internship in sports performance under Prisma Health. Sofea works under the guidance of Dr. Sarah Fretti in the Kinesiology Teaching Lab. Some of her research interests are performance testing, tactical performance analysis and neuromuscular physiology. Sofea’s future goals are to continue expanding her education and contribute to the field of human performance research. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and strength training.
