Graduate Assistant

Marcus Robinson is a doctoral student in Kinesiology under the mentorship of Dr. David Fukuda in the Physiology of Work and Exercise Response (POWER) Laboratory. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Kinesiology from Auburn University at Montgomery, where he worked as a graduate teaching and research assistant and contributed to studies in exercise physiology, hydration, and metabolic flexibility. With an emphasis on performance testing and resistance training strategies, his academic trajectory reflects a commitment to evidence-based approaches for optimizing athlete performance. His current research focuses on exploring the diurnal variations in athletic performance, examining how different times of day influence athletes’ physical abilities. He aims to provide insights that could help optimize training schedules and enhance competitive outcomes for athletes.
